About
Jacqueline believes that a genuine therapeutic relationship is at the heart of meaningful change, and works to create a warm, attuned, and supportive space where clients can explore their experiences with curiosity, compassion, and creativity. She works with thoughtful, sensitive, and creative adults & adolescents navigating anxiety, trauma, relationships, identity, life transitions, and personal growth. Her approach is holistic, depth-oriented, and trauma-informed, integrating art therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic practices, mindfulness, Jungian depth psychology, and evidence-based approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
Jacqueline completed her graduate training at Naropa University, where she received a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Transpersonal Art Therapy. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC) in Colorado and a Provisional Registered Art Therapist (ATR-P). For more than fifteen years, Jacqueline’s work has bridged healing arts, education, and mental health, including academic advising, teaching courses on resilience and somatic psychology, and clinical work with people across the lifespan. She has also spent more than two decades cultivating her own practices in mindfulness, yoga, meditation, therapeutic imagery, and mind-body awareness.
Jacqueline is particularly passionate about the ways art, imagery, dreams, symbols, and imagination can open doors to experiences that may be difficult to reach through words alone. She believes that our emotions, bodies, memories, and protective parts often carry important information, and that approaching them with curiosity rather than judgment can create new possibilities for healing. Jacqueline trusts in each person’s innate creativity, wisdom, and capacity for growth, and sees therapy as an opportunity to develop a deeper relationship with oneself while discovering new ways of living, relating, and moving through the world.
Outside of her clinical work, Jacqueline is continually inspired by creativity, contemplative practice, nature, and the small moments of connection and wonder that make life meaningful. She believes that healing is not about becoming someone different, but about becoming more fully and compassionately at home in who you already are.
