We take Denver County Medicaid (CO Access) for family therapy which fully covers the cost of the sessions. You may reach out directly to Amy to discuss private pay rates for family work.

COUPLES THERAPY

Sometimes you need a third party to help you untangle the mess that is relationship. You need a trusted advocate for you, your partner and your relationship. Someone who has the expertise to see clearly the patterns, old trauma wounding and limiting beliefs impacting your relationship and hold the possibilities for growth and intimacy that comes with healing. We can help you discern if it is time to end the relationship and end it in an amicable fashion OR if it is time to commit and dig deep to improve your relationship.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • You and your partner must agree to show up consistently to make couples therapy work. But sometimes just starting with one session is the best way to get the process started. Starting couples therapy is vulnerable and hard. Our therapists work hard to provide an unbiased and supportive space for healing and connection.

  • Most couples meet with their counselor every other week or sometimes weekly to start.

  • Most people’s fears when starting couple’s therapy are that it will result in a split or it will be wasted money and effort with no change. The purpose of couples work is ultimately for each individual to heal their attachment (early childhood relationship) wounding so they can show up healthier in relationship. At times that can eventually end in a break up but often, it means that you build confidence and wellness so that you can relate to your partner in a deeper and more meaningful way.

  • A couples therapist’s job is to be unbiased and support you both in understanding the ways your old wounding is showing up in relationship so that you may heal and grow. They won’t take sides but will let you know if you are having a reaction that is getting in the way of you forming deeper and healthier relationships. And will help you heal that wounding.
