We honor and acknowledge that the land on which we reside is the traditional territory of the Ute, Cheyenne, and Arapaho Peoples. We recognize the more than 40 contemporary tribal nations who have previously called Colorado home. We honor Elders past, present, and future, and those who have stewarded this land throughout generations. We also recognize the ways in which we continue to enact exclusions and erasures of Indigenous Peoples. We commit to dismantling ongoing legacies of oppression and inequities and recognize the current and future contributions of Indigenous communities in Denver and beyond.

We also acknowledge the labor of enslaved Africans and their descendants who worked this stolen land for the colonists, and who continue to disproportionately face economic oppression, racism, violence, and exploitation.

Brave Embodiment Counseling LLC gives monthly to Soul 2 Soul Sisters, the Ute Land Trust and Dig Deep (to provide clean drinking water to the Navajo Nation) to honor reciprocity and support healing and justice for those deeply affected by colonialism.
